Christmas in July!

Well, it finally arrived! I've been waiting impatiently for this 'Noel' by Lewis and Irene ever since I ordered it months ago. It's just so beautiful, and as always, the real deal is so much better than the pictures!
And I have absolutely no idea how they are able to add metallic accents in their fabric without some roughness, but they manage to do it. This fabric has delicate gold metallic accents throughout.
If you've never worked with Lewis and Irene fabrics, let me tell you, their fabric is a dream! Until I opened my shop, I hadn't heard of them either. But once I tested their fabric, I was hooked. This fabric is manufactured in South Korea on pre-shrunk cotton. But, being the skeptic that I am, of course I had to see for myself. So, I washed and dried it (using a medium heat setting, because that's as low as my dryer will go), and it didn't shrink one iota. Plus, even deep reds and blues had no dye wash at all. I can tell you that even premium quality name-brand quilting fabric shrinks (about 1" per yard in my tests), and I've had problems with some dye bleeding. But not with Lewis and Irene.

I'll be posting some quilt kits with this gorgeous fabric soon, but in the meantime, you can certainly order yardage and precuts! Here's a table topper kit that will be available soon:
