2023 Riley Blake Designs Block Challenge Quilt Kits--Tulip Medalion Layout
The 2023 Riley Blake Designs Block Challenge was so much fun! We've curated two variations on the Challenge quilt for you, both featuring fabric from the Bee Vintage collection by Lori Holt of Bee in My Bonnet for Riley Blake Designs (along with some other Lori Holt fabrics such as Bee Cross Stitch, Gunny Sack, and Prairie). I loved the Tulip block so much (designed by Jennifer Long), that I made the feature of this is the 64" x 64" tulip medalion layout. I also modified some of the blocks and included a couple from the 2022 Block Challenge.
This kit includes all the fabric you need to make the quilt top, including borders and binding. Also included is a PDF download with detailed cutting instructions including fabric "swatches", block diagrams showing color placement, and assembly instructions. Links to original designer's block patterns are also included.
Coordinating wide backing fabric is available here. You will need two yards wide backing fabric for this quilt. This provides enough extra fabric on all sides for your longarm quilter.
