2025 Riley Blake Designs Block Challenge Quilt Kits
The 2025 Riley Blake Designs Block Challenge sew-along began January 14th! There will be a video that you can sew along with each Tuesday except the last Tuesday of each month--a 'catch-up' week. The sew-along finishes May 27th. We're offering the Confetti Cottons version of this quilt kit along with six other colorways, each packaged in a reusable zippered project bag to help you stay organized!
Don't worry if you're getting a late start! The block patterns and sew-along videos will be available for at least a few years. (The 2022 Block Challenge patterns and videos are still available.)
Unlike previous years' block challenges, the folks at RBD have decided to reveal the quilt design up front, The quilt is comprised of 16 blocks by different RBD Designers.
This kit includes all the fabric you need to make the 65-1/2" x 65-1/2" quilt top, including borders and binding. You will need 4-1/8 yards of 42" wide fabric for backing, or 2-1/8 yards of a wide back.
We are offering SEVEN colorways, all with LIMITED AVAILABILITY. Please note that prices vary. We've worked hard to keep prices low, but the different fabric collections have different wholesale price points.

- The fifth option is the Autumn colorway by Lori Holt, curated by us here at Cat's Cuts. A revised swatch card and cutting guide for this kit will be included. This colorway is $89.50.
- Our newest offering is the A Walk on the Prairie colorway by Melissa Gilbert of A Modern Prairie, curated by us here at Cat's Cuts. Option 6 is colorway 1 with Sage Gray borders. A revised swatch card and cutting guide for this kit will be included. This colorway is $89.50.
