Lori Holt 10" Heart Quilt Papers SKU ST-33027
The 10" Heart Quilt Paper by Lori Holt of Bee in my Bonnet is iron-on paper that helps you accurately cut shapes from 10" stackers at unique angles to reassemble as a finished Heart Quilt Block. Each package includes 42 sheets. The iron-on adhesive leaves no residue on your fabric. These papers are needed to make Lori's Paper Heart Quilts featured on her Bee Dots storyboard. No pinning or fabric matching required! Instructions for the block will be included with the papers. The pattern calls for 2 packages, but you can use just 1 if you're comfortable cutting 6-8 layers of fabric at one time. Free setting instructions are available here.
PLEASE NOTE--this is NOT foundation paper. There's no stitching through paper or tearing paper away.
HINTS FOR SUCCESSFUL USE:
- When cutting fabric, always have your fabric squares facing the same direction. So, cut with all fabric facing up, or all fabric facing down.
- Use design boards or something similar. It's best to have space for 2 blocks (you'll see this as you make the quilt.)
- Don't try to ease your fabric to make points meet. That's not how this block goes together! Just line up the fabric pieces and sew a 1/4" seam. The pattern is supposed to have a 'folk art' look. Easy peasy!
