Renaissance Ribbons recommends gentle washing. When pressing, use a lower temperature than you would for cotton or linen, press from the wrong side, and use a pressing cloth to protect the ribbon from heat. The manufacturer also recommends basting tape as an alternative to pins when attaching ribbon to fabric, since pins may damage the woven ribbon.
